anyway, after the dolphins showing off (we were lucky coz' an officemate went this christmas and they went to the same places we've been to and they didn't see as much dolphins as we did), we went cruisin' at the river. it was nearly noontime so perfect timing as it includes buffet. i wasn't feeling happy at that time because of a discussion i had with a friend over the phone so i ate less (and got really hungry hours after). i should really throw the phones away during on a trip.
head to the majestic chocolate hills of bohol. while travelling i was thinking weird stuff again by saying that probably one of these hides an allien spaceship or something. when we got there, i saw the explanation why these hills became what you see now. this used to be a water covered land and when it dried up, these hills appeared. try putting sand on a piece of paper then punch holes below. btw, when you get there, you'll still have to climb more than a hundred steps to get a great view from the top.
but before that, we've passed by these forest the locals grew. you can't see the sun because they grew up really high. i wish every city have this. how cool would that be?

it was another climb from the registration booth to get there. just imagine me shaking and all plus gasping for more air plus the weight my feet needs to carry against the strength of gravity? if not for the kids with me excited and all, i really wouldn't dare challenge myself.
well, well, well, it's not that bad after all. i took a video of the whole thing but i forgot where i saved it. lol! i'll probably upload it later.
next is another life threatening moment. man, my heart can't take it anymore. hahaha. imagine how mind blowing events we did that day? the zip line is enough to make me sleepless for days and then this?????
not that but this...
it's the biggest snake in captivity, so says the notice. it's around 40 feet long and eats either a whole pig, 2 goats or a calf. i haven't heard anything about the snake eating humans but i guess it'll be on its menu if not fed properly. i've learned that it eats once a month after it sheds its scales. the time we went there, it was starting to get rid of its old scales so a little scary moment for us but the guardian says it won't move coz' the whole process is somewhat painful for the snake to bear. it is used to people visiting and camera shots so no problem with that.
it was dark already and darkness, snakes and away from home doesn't mix very well so we headed back to relax and enjoy the remaining hours we have left in bohol. the next day is our trip out of the island after all.
next morning we went to the blood compact monument. a little trivia to those who don't know yet. you see, during the old times, it's not of paper and pen that forge a contract. it's by blood. so cut off your skin and let the blood flow, mix it with the person you're signing a contract with. drink it and viola, a deal is made. the vampires were probably more than excited during those times. hehehe.
so there goes my trip to bohol. i would like to go back as soon as possible.
